Art in the Library

Calling all youth artists!! Submit your original artwork for a chance at a prize. This initiative is in collaboration with The North Perth Arts and Heritage Collective

Submissions open: September 15 to October 10 

Displays of artwork will go up after October 10 for the remainder of the month, in Listowel Branch. 

 
SUBMISSIONS CLOSE ON October 10th AT 5PM 

General Rules:
  • Entry into the Contest is FREE!
  • All artwork must be original.
  • All mediums welcome. 
  • Each piece must have entry form/cover sheet attached if you are submitting in person. 
  • Submissions will be displayed from the 10th of October until the end of the month, in Listowel Branch. 
  • Judges will decide winner and announce at our International Artist Day celebration on October 25. 
  • Pieces must be picked up by the end of day on November 28, from Listowel Branch,
  • Entrants give permission to the North Perth Public Library to share their art by entering this contest.
  • Printing is free at the Listowel Branch for this initiative. Please tell counter staff that you are looking to print your digital art for the Art in the Library contest. 
 Eligibility:
  • Participants may enter more than one piece, but each piece must be accompanied by its own attached, entry form/cover sheet.
  • Winners will be determined by community judging. All decisions are final.
  • There will be one winner per category.
  • Categories are ages: 3-8, 9-14, 15-18
Submission:
In person submission is preferred for displaying purposes. They can be submitted digitally as well. Feel free to enter at any of the North Perth Public Library branches during regular library hours. Branches are located in Listowel, Monkton, and Atwood.
 
Please make sure the entry form is filled out for all submissions.
